If so, I have one rule: Don't do it for the praise!

Many times, I have volunteers to help me deliver that realize very quickly that sometimes people are not always accepting or even kind when receiving or rejecting our meals. Understanding, acceptance and compassion are a must for this role as we will encounter people from all walks of life, all types of mental disorders, diseases, behaviors and even aggressiveness.
It is not for the faint of heart if you are not used to the street environment.
